Rope is a 36” extremely tough sash cord, able to withstand the many “pulls” sometimes necessary to get that antique motor running. The hardwood handle is the vintage style with tapered ends and bigger drilled hole partially through the wood to accommodate the knot. Research carried out by Auto Trader among 1,024 drivers showed that the British brand's cars are, perhaps unsurprisingly, the ones that most Brits think highest of, beating the likes of Ferrari, Lamborghini and Bentley down the order. In fact, the top three positions in the survey were filled by British car makers, with Bentley and Rolls Royce second and third respectively.
2013 Acura RDX to start at $35,205
Fri, 24 Feb 2012Acura announced on Thursday that the 2013 RDX crossover will start at $35,205 including an $885 destination fee. That's a significant jump over the current Acura RDX, which starts at $33,780 including destination. Granted, the extra money buys you two more cylinders: The 2013 RDX features a new 3.5-liter V6 engine producing 33 more horses than the outgoing model, for a total of 273 hp.
Audi e-Tron launch now in 2012 – Torque figures rubbished
Sun, 06 Dec 2009The Audi e-Tron at the LA Auto Show Audi’s electric R8 – the Audi e-Tron – was unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show this year and has just had its US debut at the Los Angeles Motor Show. Dubbed the Electric R8 it is in fact a stand alone car that happens to have styling similarities to Audi’s Supercar R8, but there the similarity ends. The e-Tron – which took a little of the glory off BMW’s Vision ED Concept - boasts four electric motors – one at each wheel – which produce the equivalent of 313bhp.
