The gently tweaked 2012 Jaguar XK It’s not as big an overhaul as the 2012 Jaguar XF, but Jaguar has sensibly had a play to freshen up the XK and keep it looking crisp for a while longer, rolling out the 2012 Jaguar XK at the New York Motor Show. Changes to the XK for 2012 are pretty much as we predicted, although not quite as close to the Jaguar XKR-S as we’d thought likely. Lincoln has appointed Peter Jones as the luxury brand's new interior design manager, a role he will take up within the next few weeks. Jones, who has worked at Ford Australia's design studio for seven years, will report directly to Max Wolff, a former colleague who moved in January 2011 to become Lincoln's Design Director. The Australian designer was interior design manager for the new Ranger and also worked as lead exterior designer on the FG Falcon Ute.

The revised Alfa Romeo plan that Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne is expected to announce next April focuses on a new, still unnamed rear-wheel- and all-wheel-drive architecture. A key aim of the new plan is to boost Alfa's global presence.
