MADE IN HOLLAND

These winches came off a 35 foot sailboat built in 1974.
They worked fine when we removed them and have NO missing parts.
The are chrome over bronze and have a brake mechanism to lock the wire. 
Widest part: 4 1/2 inches
Length overall: 7 3/4 inches
Height: 4 5/8 inches
The have a 6 bolt pattern for the winch pad/plate and 1 bolt hole at the bottom.

These are vintage winches but they are in very good shape.

GM director advanced design Frank Saucedo features in a new video explaining the design process behind the new Elmiraj concept. Saucedo, who oversaw the concept's development at GM's advanced design studio in North Hollywood, California, talks about how the Elmiraj – the second in a series of three concept cars that began with last's year Ciel – is a study of how they can progress and evolve the carmaker's ‘Art and Science' design philosophy. GM's interior design manager Gael Buzyn and exterior design manager Niki Smart also feature, with Smart explaining how the Elmiraj concept is focused on the notion of ‘the drive' and has been designed to reflect dynamism while the Ciel was about ‘the journey', represented by a luxurious interior.

2011 Cadillac CTS coupe revealed; V-Series model confirmed

Michelin Challenge Design 2009 preview

Michelin has released details of three more contenders which will be displayed at the Michelin Challenge Design exhibit at the 2009 NAIAS next week. The stand will feature 11 scale models and 24 two-dimensional drawings that were selected by a jury of top automotive designers. Among these are Raquel Aparicio’s Soft Vehicle, Fernando Gomez’s Packard concept and Niels Grubak Iversen and David Goncalves’ Phoenix concept.
