Here's a good used speedo from an old Ski Doo Everest (not sure of the year). It has the nifty remote cable reset knob for the tripmeter.  The speedometer and tripmeter work great and the bulbs test good also. The body diameter is 3.136" and it would fit into a 3 1/4" hole.
