Vintage Stewart Warner 8,000 Rpm Black Face Tach Early 60's Test Video Dated 63! on 2040-parts.com

This is a vintage Stewart Warner 8,000 RPM black face tachometer. The plain black face was the earliest design of the model tach with the blueline and greenline models coming later. This is a very nice period correct tach for the 50's-60's.The tach is dated 4/63 or April, 1963.
The coolest part about this style tach is the sending unit hooks directly to the back of the tach and is concealed in the original cup. The sending unit is not included in this listing but an NOS Autometer 8 cylinder sender that works with this tach can be found on my other listings.
This tach is in very good original condition as shown. The face is excellent with no damage or fading. The lens is real glass and in very good shape with one small crack on the very bottom as shown. The front bezel is nice with shiny original chrome and a few dings. This is simply a very nice vintage tach.

Chevy Volt to get 230-mpg rating for city fuel economy, General Motors says
Tue, 11 Aug 2009General Motors expects that the Chevy Volt will get an EPA city fuel-economy rating of 230 mpg, and a combined fuel economy rating of triple digits, CEO Fritz Henderson said Tuesday. The ratings will be based on a new test that the EPA is developing for plug-in electric hybrids. The highway and combined figures were not announced.
