For consideration is a (X1) very hard to find old tail light wiring connector.

I have them listed in pairs (2 for 20.00) in my other items.

Item 141744662357 and has better pictures of this connector.

These are also correct for some headlight socket wiring connection.

The ribbed end cover is not magnetic, it is nickel plated brass.

From the case pins where it holds in the tail light housing
to the tip of the brass push pin connectors is 1/2 inch.

The pins and brass contact location are not staggered they are 90 degree from each other.

These have the same pin and contact arrangement as a 1158 straight pin 6v tail light bulb.

(Technical name for straight across pins is "non-indexed")

Also same pin location as a 97 or 1155 single element 12v bulb.  It can be put in the socket either way = "non-indexed"

So try one of the 1158 bulbs in your light socket where this connector

would go and if it lines up this is the socket you need for those old lights.

These have a large opeining where the wire goes for the heavy 6v light wiring.

Extra bright straight pin 12v tail light bulbs are available from speedway motors.

These do not work for the electroline art deco tail lights.

I accept returns for any reason IF THEY DONT WORK OUT FOR YOU.

If you only need one let me know and I will list a single for you.

Compare to ebay item 171617112910.

This socket will take its place with a screw cap that you can seal the wires with silicone to keep the water out.

These have dust from years of storage, w-d 40 makes them mint.

Just a side note to all shopping for a switch or switch sets for their antique car, hot rod, race car or truck build.

I only sell quality parts. No junk here.

I buy parts and pieces in bulk to make up matching switch sets. Most knobs fit most switch I sell but their is some that don't work out very well. If you like a certain knob, just ask if it will fit the switch your interested in. Most knobs have to be fitted to each switch.

View my feedback and buy with confidence. I will not sell anything I would not use on my cars. I accept returns for any reason.

F1 Budget Cap – No two-tier system says Ecclestone

Sun, 17 May 2009

Bernie Ecclestone says there will be no two-tier system in the F1 budget cap row [ad#ad-1] All eyes have gone off the stunning start to this year’s F1 circus with the news that Ferrari, Renault, Red Bull and several other teams have threatened to quit F1 next year in protest at the budget cap proposal and the two-tier system that appears to create. In a nutshell, the FIA – lead by Max Mosley – has imposed a £40 million cap on F1 team expenditure for next year (excluding driver costs, marketing costs and transport), but has said that teams who don’t adhere to the cap can still compete, but will be handicapped. Not surprisingly, the richer teams have objected and, on the face of it, it starts to look as if F1 as we know it is going to bite the dust.

Renault Alpine A110-50

Fri, 25 May 2012

As we reported earlier this week, the Renault Alpine A110-50 prototype will be shown at the 2012 Monaco Grand Prix this weekend. Designed by Yann Jarsalle and Concept and Show Car Director Axel Breun the A110-50 effectively relaunches the historic Alpine brand despite being essentially a reworked version of the Renault-branded DeZir concept unveiled at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. As well as the addition of various Alpine design cues – the stylized yellow spot lamp pods, central hood flute and blue and orange colorway – the car is built on the platform of the RenaultSport Megane Trophy racecar and so therefore requires cooling provisions for its mid-mounted engine.
