It’s a month since we had the reveal of the McLaren 12C Spider – the very appealing trick roof version of the MP4-12C – but we hadn’t actually seen it in the flesh. Taking over the mantle from unbeatable Frenchman Sebastien Loeb is his fellow countryman Sebastien Ogier, driving for VW rather than Loeb’s dominating Citroen World Rally Team. Loeb chose to compete in ‘selected events’ in 2013, opting to race in the Monte Carlo, Sweden and Argentina and France events.

We’re currently suffering a spate of teases for the successor to the Lamborghini Gallardo – which we expected to be the Cabrera – but it seems it won’t get the Cabrera moniker after all – it’s apparently going to be the Lamborghini Huracan. So says Auto Express who’ve been tipped the wink by someone who seems to know.
