Vintage Uniroyal Tiger Paw tire with Approx 1/2 tread. Good beads, some minor dry rot cracking on rear of tire. Needs cleaning.

This is a Used Uniroyal G70-15 Tiger Paw Belted tire. Construction is Rayon/Fiberglass. Has the smaller 9 digit DOT number (see photos). Definately aged and has some minor small dry rot on the back of the tire. Front looks pretty good. Has the White pinstripe whitewall correct for the period. Should hold air but due to age should be used for display only as it is about 40 years old or more. Make a great factory spare in the trunk for originality. Uniroyal Tiger Paws are Not reproduced.....shame, it was one of the prettier tires of the period.

Rural motorists pay price at pumps

RURAL MOTORISTS are beginning to feel petrol price pressure at the pumps again, according to the AA. Average UK petrol prices went back above 130p a litre at the end of April and continue to hover around that level. But the AA said that a war in which supermarkets have pitted vouchers against rock-bottom pump prices means the cheapest petrol in many big towns and cities is at year-lows of just under 126p.

2015 Ford Mustang GT features electronic line lock

Ford continues to add to the bag of tricks that will ship with the 2015 Mustang. On Monday, it announced new GTs will come equipped with an electronic line-lock function that keeps the front brakes engaged while you warm your rear tires. “Competition has been an integral part of the Ford Mustang lifestyle since its earliest days 50 years ago,” said Steve Ling, Ford car-marketing manager.

New carmaker Eterniti to debut its first car at Frankfurt auto show

It's not every day that a new car company jumps into the fray, and it's even rarer that the first model it builds is a super SUV. Enter Eterniti Motors, a startup luxury brand based in London. The company says it satisfies a demand for personalized luxury from wealthy car buyers, “particularly in major cities and global wealth centers.” Apparently Rolls-Royce, Bugatti, Bentley and Spyker just aren't filling that void.
