UP FOR AUCTION IS A VINTAGE YMC COMPASS. I BELIEVE IT WAS MADE FOR A BOAT/SHIP, BUT AM NOT POSITIVE. IT APPEARS TO HAVE A METAL FRAME AND HANDLE WITH A HARD PLASTIC COVER OVER THE COMPASS PART. IT IS ABOUT 6 INCHES TALL, INCLUDING THE HANDLE. IT APPEARS TO WORK PROPERLY, BUT LOOKS LIKE IT WOULD NEED TO BE CALIBRATED, WHICH CAN EASILY BE DONE WITH KNOBS ON THE BOTTOM. IT HAS A PORT FOR A PLUG, BUT THERE IS NO CORD. I THINK MAYBE IT LIGHTS UP IF YOU HAD THE CORD. IT SHOWS SOME PAINT WEAR HERE AND THERE, BUT OVERALL, IT APPEARS TO BE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION.
