Ford's NA Design Director aims to shorten product lifecycles

Peter Horbury, Ford Motor Company North America Design Director, has told Automotive News he intends to shorten product lifecycles at the ailing company from an average five years to three years starting this decade. "We feel there is no value in minor changes but a huge value in major changes," Horbury told the industry weekly. 'Fuel thieves' held in flood area

THREE MORE alleged fuel thieves have been arrested in the flood-stricken Somerset Levels. Police stopped the trio at 4am today near the flooded village Muchelney and found drums and an electric pump in their 4x4. The men, aged 51, 35 and 24, are now being held at Yeovil police station.
