EGR Delete Kit for 1.9 PD105 & 2.0 16v PD and Common Rail TDI Engines

Fits many VW / Audi / Seat and Skoda Vehicles 1.9 8v TDI & 2.0 16v TDI Engines

Reduces inlet air temperatures = more power

Prevents inlet and turbo from clogging up

Polished aluminium finish

Made in the USA

This kit consists of:

TDI Upgrades Race Pipe

EGR Blanking Plate (for Turbo EGR Port)

Vented Grub Screw (Boost Guage Takeoff)

Grub Screw (to block Boost Port)

O-Ring Seal

This kit replaces the EGR Valve and fits neatly between the Anti Shudder Valve and Inlet Manifold. Retaining the ASV means the engine still remains smooth when switching off the ignition

Our unique Grub Screw design allows for the neatest possible install, removing the bulky brass fitting found on other EGR Delete Kits. The hole also eliminates the need to fit an 'in-line' reducer to stop the boost guage from fluttering under heavy load. The design also means that customers who will not be using the boost takeoff will have a clean looking install

Our design is almost exactly the same profile as the standard EGR Valve, which allows all the stock fixings to be used.

Will fit the following vehicles

Audi

  • A3 TDI (8P) w/ 2.0L CBEA Engine (2009-2014)

Volkswagen

  • Beetle TDI w/ 2.0L CJAA Engine (2013-2014)
  • Golf TDI Mk6 w/ 2.0 CJAA Engine (2010-2014)
  • Jetta TDI MkV (A5 chassis) w/ 2.0 CBEA/CJAA Engine (2009-2010)
  • Jetta TDI MkVI w/ 2.0 CJAA Engine (2011-2014)
  • Sportwagen TDI w/ 2.0L CBEA/CJAA Engine (2009-2014)

MP calls for taxis to have CCTV

Wed, 30 Oct 2013

HIGH RISK situations for taxi drivers could be mitigated by installing CCTV cameras in all minicabs and taxis, according to a Conservative MP. Bedford MP Richard Fuller said that cameras, which are long overdue, would also help make passengers feel safer. Proposing his Licensed Hackney carriages and private hire vehicles (Closed circuit television) Bill, Mr Fuller said: "In this Bill, I would propose that we should provide for secure and encrypted CCTV." Mr Fuller's Bill would ensure that recordings would only be for police access and only in specific cases.

Saab 9-3 EV prototype revealed by NEVS When National Electric Vehicle Sweden (NEVS) bought what was left after the debacle of bankruptcy, the plan was to create a range of electric cars using the Saab brand. But that hasn’t gone to plan, even though the first electric Saab 9-3 Prototype has now been revealed. In fact, Saab under NEVS has also come close to bankruptcy recently as an unpaid supplier took court action (although NEVS say that little local difficulty has been solved) and NEVS had to resort to building ICE engined Saabs to keep a few bob coming in.
