We’re hoping Ford are still going ahead with plans for the Focus RS Hybrid by 2013, but what we do know for sure is that we will be seeing a warmer Focus in the 2012 Focus ST before the end of the year. GM spending $336 million on plant upgrades for Volt production
Mon, 07 Dec 2009General Motors on Monday said it would spend $336 million on upgrades to the Hamtramck plant near downtown Detroit to build the Chevrolet Volt hybrid car. The plant will begin building Volt prototypes next spring, using the Hamtramck plant's existing production line. Production of saleable vehicles begins next fall.
