VOLVO PENTA MARINE TRANSMISSION, model MS2, V Drive, 3:1 reduction ratio. This transmission [ and Volvo MD2003 engine ] was removed during a repower. This transmission works fine, and has low operating hours. The repower was needed because the Volvo engine dropped a valve, and needed major repair. A new Beta Marine 30 horsepower engine with ZF V drive transmission replaced the damaged Volvo engine. This transmission is no longer available from Volvo Penta. However, parts are still available. The mounting bracket is included, as shown.

This is the first McLaren built for FIA GT racing since the F1 GTR took to the track before production ended in 1997.
