Penta parts available! Up for sale is a beautiful condition Volvo Penta Rebuilt Resealed Aq 280 DP Big block V8 Ratio 1.78 - 1 . This was a Fresh Water Low hour Unit . The upper Unit is a 2 Bolt pivot pin style with 10 Spline Universal yoke ( we can swap this with a 26 spline if necessary) , New High Quality forged u-joints, All new Volvo Penta seals no cheap junk , Rear main seal, Front Shift shoe seal, Top cap Seal. The Lower gear unit has been completely gone thru , Bearings and gears inspected in Excellent condition , Prop Shafts are laser straight , splines are perfect , All new Prop Shaft seals / Sealing rings . Reverse lock inspected Everything in perfect working order , Pressure tested and ready to go. The entire unit has been primed with Zinc Chromate marine Primer , and 2 coats of Volvo Penta Aquamatic White . I also Have several other Gear ratio lower 1.95 for Small Blocks 2.30 for 6 Cylinder units. Please contact us for a shipping quote. Drink driving deaths UP by 25%
Thu, 17 Oct 2013Drink-drive related road deaths rose by 25% last year, with a staggering one in six fatalities on the UK’s roads connected to alcohol consumption, according to the latest government figures. Department for Transport (DfT) data revealed that 290 people lost their lives through drink-drive crashes during 2012, marking a significant increase from the 230 individuals killed in 2011.
