Volvo Penta Tech Mate diagnostic scan tool Ver. 5.0 This scan tool will work with other manufacturers including Mercruiser. This tool is no longer available from Rinda and costs $750 with the adapters I am including. It works with the following engines:

  • All Marine Engines equipped with GM MEFI (MEFI 1-5)
  • Volvo Penta Engines equipped with EGC EFI
  • Pleasurecraft with ECM 07 and 08
  • Indmar GCP EFI
  • Mercuriser PCM 555 and ECM555 and Visteon EFI
  • OBD-M compliant sterndrive / inboard engines

We’re not entirely sure how the Nissan Juke-R – the love child of a Juke and a GT-R – ended up in Dubai pitted in a race against a selection of the world’s best supercars – but it did. POTHOLES cause 'over £1 billion in damage every year'

POTHOLES are costing British drivers £1.2 billion every year due to damage to suspension, steering and wheels. This is a 16% rise in the cost of damage to cars on the UK’s roads and the weather has played a major part in the rise in the number of potholes. Councils say they don’t have the money to deal with the problem due to budget cuts and there has also been an 18% increase in the number of dangerous potholes reported during the past 12 months according to the Asphalt Industry Alliance (AIA).

Ford C-Max and Mondeo spotted in Detroit

Detroiter Spencer Abbott spotted a couple of Euro Fords out cruising the boulevards of suburban Detroit this weekend. Like a good Autoweek reader, he snapped a few photos as soon as it could be done safely. The C-Max can be easily explained, as Ford plans to start selling the little people mover stateside this fall.
