Here is an excellent used track from a 1970s era John Deere 600 snowmobile. John Deere called it an 18" wide track but the actual width is more like 17 3/4". The part number is M64361. It has 47 pitches and the pitch dimension appears to be 2.52" which would give the track an overall length of 118.44 ". The track lugs are spaced for 9 1/2" centers (meaning sprockets would be 9 1/2" apart measured on centers. I think this track may also fit some Massey Ski Whiz snowmobiles and might fit some other makes and models as well but I am not sure which others. I am confident this track should have thousands of miles of life left in it. Being heavy and large, this item is costly to ship but you are welcome to pick it up if you can at my shop in Roblin, Manitoba.

Thu, 23 Sep 2010

Anyone driving a car today has certainly heard about the dangers of drinking and driving, and the use of a cell phone and texting while driving. Seung Hwa Suh, vice chairman and CEO of Hankook tires, is hoping more drivers will pay attention to the dangers of low tire pressure and driving. At The Tire Society's 29th Annual Meeting and Conference on Tire Science and Technology, Suh proposed that all tire manufacturers "jointly develop a global campaign for educating consumers about air pressure and the overwhelming benefits that we can all enjoy if we simply maintain proper inflation," he said.

Thu, 19 Jul 2012

Lexus is joining the social teasing party by uploading a darkened, smoky image of the redesigned 2013 Lexus LS sedan. We can't see much, but we do get a sense of the general shape of the car, which looks to be a bit more streamlined than the model it replaces. An earlier teaser shot showed the front end of the new LS.
