ITEM: A GEMCO 400 Watt Engine Block Heater No. 402.  There are no instructions with this block heater.  This a new old stock heater made to fit a 1 3/8 inch block opening by removing the frost plug.  I plugged it into a household outlet for a few seconds and it heats up very quickly.

SIZE: It is marked 400W 115 V. Made in Canada  No. 402.  

CONDTION: It is new old stock with no evidence or wear or use.

Lexus has unveiled a new take on the LF-LC concept—dubbed the LF-LC Blue—at the Australian motor show. The LF-LC Blue builds on the dramatic LF-LC coupe concept that debuted at the 2012 Detroit auto show, featuring the same wildly sculpted aluminum and carbon-fiber body. Lexus is calling concept's color Opal blue, a reference to the iridescent gemstones found in Australia.

Jaguar showcase the development of the C-X75 hybrid supercar on video After little news on the Jaguar C-X75 – Jaguar’s hybrid supercar – after production plans were cancelled at the end of 2012, this last week has seen a flurry of activity. We’ve had a few select publications given the chance to take a ride – and a brief drive – in the C-X75 at Gaydon, and Jaguar decided to release some new photos of the C-X75 in a fetching shade of blue. We’ve also had the suggestion that Jaguar will give the F-Type a 700bhp version of the C-X75′s hybrid powerplant.

Royal College of Art and SABIC collaborate on new ‘VISIcON’ program and design competition

The Royal of Art and chemicals manufacturer SABIC has announced the launch of a three-month research program and competition called 'VISIcON'. Over 30 post-graduate students from the college's Vehicle Design program are studying and analyzing how SABIC's thermoplastic lighting materials and LEXAN polycarbonate (PC) glazing technologies can be used practically and creatively to improve the lighting and illumination of future vehicles. VISIcON asks students from the RCA's automotive students split into three groups: the Automark group's emphasis on developing and enhancing brand identity through lighting; Urban Flow's focus directed towards discovering innovative exterior lighting; and Inside Out studio is working on improving and extending the use of light in the vehicle interior through lighting components and PC glazing.
