Anniversary Edition MX-5 Debuts At New York Show

AS part of the quarter century milestone celebrations focused on its iconic MX-5 roadster, Mazda has revealed a special edition to mark the car’s 25th anniversary. Taking pride of place on the firm’s stand at the New York International Auto Show along with a collection of heritage cars, the special edition model is based on the 2.0-litre 160 horsepower Roadster Coupe with the retractable hardtop. Ford today whisks the covers off updated versions of the S-Max and Galaxy, fresh for launch in 2010. Chrysler, VW lead February sales gains

U.S. auto sales led by Chrysler Group surged 16 percent in February, giving the industry its strongest showing in four years in a fresh sign that the recovery is gaining more traction. Total light vehicle sales rose to 1.15 million units as the seasonally adjusted sales annual rate hit 15.1 million.
