I purchased this and had it on a 400 small block - I ended up pulling the motor in favor of a big block about 4 months after it was installed, so this part has not been used very much, has been in a heated storage unit ever since.

Please contact me directly with any further questions or with questions on shipping. Local pickup can also be arranged with me near Chicago, IL. Thanks!

New VW Golf GTD to cost just £199 a month. Sort of.

Fri, 02 Aug 2013

The VW Golf GTD (pictured) can be had for £199 a month – if you’ve got a big deposit There’s no question that car buyers are getting themselves in to new cars at affordable money thanks to the range of finance packages on offer now, including leases, PCP and contract hire. That’s good for car makers, dealers and the car buying public as it leads to more sales and more people driving modern, reliable and efficient cars. But the headline price is not always as clear cut as it seems.

Gemballa Mirage GT Carbon Edition revealed

Sat, 28 Feb 2009

There have been a number of tuned and pimped versions from them in the last few years (you wonder when they’re going to run out of donor cars  – there were only 1270 ever made), but this one looks particularly good. Based on a standard donor Porsche Carrera GT, the Gemballa Mirage GT Carbon Edition gets a power increase of around 50bhp, taking it to 670bhp (not as mad as some of the Gemballa Carrera GTs have been) and 470lb/ft of torque.

After almost a decade of trying, Mercedes has finally officially thrown in the towel and announced the end of Maybach production. Maybach – a brand name almost unknown outside Germany when it was revived – was supposed to be Mercedes’ answer to Rolls Royce and Bentley. And perhaps it could have been.
