Description

Wells Vehicle Electronics' Blower Motor Resistors are designed and manufactured to meet or exceed original equipment manufacturers' specifications for performance and durability. The HVAC Blower Motor Resistor, also known as a BMR, controls the speed of vehicle's blower motor. A malfunctioning or inoperative Blower Motor Resistor will cause a poor cabin cooling or heating condition. It can also cause insufficient windshield defrosting or de-icing, reducing driver visibility. When replacing a failed Blower Motor Resistor, other HVAC (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning) system components should be verified for functionality as they can cause the Blower Motor Resistor to fail. The blower motor should be checked for amperage draw per the manufacturer's specification and cabin air filters, if equipped, should be replaced.

McLaren P1: Geneva Motor Show

Tue, 05 Mar 2013

The new McLaren P1 has been revealed publicly for the first time at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show where it goes up against LaFerrari. In contrast, McLaren has been busy trailing the P1 for months and had revealed all we really wanted to know ahead of today at Geneva. That garnered more column inches for the McLaren than the Ferrari in the run-up to Geneva but it’s meant that the actual public reveal of the McLaren P1 has been totally overshadowed today by the reveal of LaFerrari.

New Infiniti Q50 starts at £27,950 for the Q50 2.2d

Wed, 26 Jun 2013

Infiniti are pinning the new Q50′s sporting credibility on Sebastian Vettel (pictured) Infiniti are hanging their future sales on a name change that sounds like a James Bond reference – with all Infiniti models now getting the ‘Q’ prefix – and Sebastian Vettel’s input and endorsement of the brand – he’s Infiniti’s Director of Performance (well, there’s a price to pay for Infiniti’s Red Bull sponsorship). The first outing for Infiniti ‘Q’ in the UK is the new Infiniti Q50, which gets a four cylinder 2.2 litre turbo diesel as its entry-level, and it looks quite promising with 168bhp and 295lb/ft of torque and emissions of 115g/km, which should mean official economy around 65mpg. Standard features on the Q50 2.2d include Infiniti inTouch (so you can Tweet and Like on the go), Infiniti Drive Mode Selector, Stop-Start, rear view camera, Climate, 17″ alloys, Voice and Bluetooth.
