Swing Mount Brake & Clutch Pedals

Wilwood’s new Adjustable Reverse Mount Pedal assembly combines the brake and clutch pedals together in one unit and positions the master cylinders inside the firewall, away from engine heat. It features all aluminum frame and forged aluminum pedal arms with ladder style construction. Pedal pads are of special adjustable design that allows fine-tuning of the pedal location and clearance. Also included with the assembly: mounting studs, hardware, new clevis and pivot pin balance bar assembly to provide smooth and accurate settings of the brake pedal bias. The balance bar can be set and locked down with the jam nut, or attached to a remote cable for quick on-track adjustments. With a 6.25 to 1 pedal ratio on both clutch and brake pedals.

At the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, it will reveal the Agera One:1 – which Koenigsegg has dubbed the world’s first "megacar". Thing is, having looked at the spec, we believe it.

Concept Car of the Week: BMW Spicup (1969)

Fri, 19 Apr 2013

The oddly named Spicup, standing for Spider and Coupé, was first presented at the 1969 Geneva Motor Show. Carozzeria Bertone had previous collaborations with BMW such as the 3200CS coupe by Giugiaro. The friendship between Nuccio Bertone and Willhelm Hoffmeister, head of bodywork construction at BMW, must have also contributed to the brand agreeing to provide an early pre-production of the E3 generation 2500 saloon as a base for the concept.

Make like a tree and Leaf: We drive Nissan's coming electric vehicle

Mon, 16 Nov 2009

From behind the wheel, the production version of the Nissan Leaf electric car is smooth and silent, feels nearly friction-free and offers all the prodigious torque inherent in an electric car. That's what we found after a short drive around Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on Friday. The body you see in the photo is a Versa.
