Windshield Repair Training. Spend one day at work with me in the field, usually a friday, watching and learning as i do windshield repair and show you all the steps. Spend a Saturday with me at our shop as you get hands on experience drilling, seting up the injector, cycling, setting up to cure, and the finishing process. Learn to do perfect repairs, as i dont play around! You may have done windshield repair for months or years but just arent getting the repairs to come out perfectly. Make the investment in yourself, it will pay off in the demos that help you pickup a fleet or keep your current accounts happy by saving their windshields. You need to be doing windshields right! Come train with me for two days, go home and practice, and dominate your area. This is college for Windshield Repair Techs. Invest the money to get your repairs right, and you can make a VERY good living in this business doing fleet work. The fact that i have done windshield repair, and nothing else for 15 years does not itself qualify me as a teacher. Many have done repairs for a long time and have not mastered the trade, being used to telling people "well at least it wont spread" when they "cap" it and it doesnt look any better. Get used to getting all the legs and having no more black areas/imperfections in your repairs when you train with a master technician. Audi A1 Quattro models ‘on the way’
Wed, 12 Jan 2011Audi has confirmed it is testing four-wheel drive Quattro versions of the A1 – indicating an imminent expansion of Audi’s supermini range. Although showcased as this one-off at a Quattro publicity event in Montreal, Canada, to celebrate 30 years of the all-corner drive system, Ingolstadt acknowledged at last autumn’s 2010 Paris motor show that Quattro versions of the A1 were in the pipeline. The production A1 Quattro will use the Haldex differential to split drive to both axles; it’s a similar technology to that found in A3 and TT Quattros, as opposed to the mechanical Torsen diff found in larger Quattro models.
