Up for bid is a new Winegard model TR-2000 Satellite Antenna Tripod/Base Mount in excellent condition (see PICs). Here's what the manufacturer has to say about this product: Great for short stops, wooded areas, boat docks, RVs,  decks and more. Works with a standard 18" single satellite viewing dish. Azimuth degree markings are molded right into the base. Includes removable legs, ground anchor, bungee cord, compass and bubble level. This weather resistant premium quality satellite mount is pre-owned, but have never been installed or used (see PICs). Please note that the box has some water stains on the outside, but the items inside are brand new and in excellent condition. Porsche is planning some sports-car candy for the Frankfurt motor show: the limited-edition 911 Sport Classic, which blends styling cues from the brand's storied past with the always intoxicating notion of more power. The 911 Sport Classic will be limited to just 250 copies and will cost about $241,000. Unfortunately, it's not coming to North America.

CCTV parking fines could be banned

COUNCILS in England could be banned from using CCTV cameras and "spy cars" to impose parking fines on motorists under new government proposals. Local Government Secretary Eric Pickles has said he wants to curb "overzealous" local authorities which use cameras to maximise their income from parking fines. He warned that public support for CCTV could be undermined if people believed they were being used to generate revenue rather than preventing crime.

In fact, at the Shanghai Motor Show in 2011, Volvo delivered the Concept Universe car which we all though was pointing the way to what could be a Volvo S90; Volvo’s luxury car for Chinese plutocrats. It sported a rather strange ‘East meets West’ design language with a very odd nose and lots of curves, and it wasn’t exactly showered in plaudits. But that didn’t stop Volvo coming back at Frankfurt in 2011 with an altogether more convincing concept – the Volvo Concept You – that sported a much clearer vision for a future luxury Volvo.
