Mini, Airstream collaborate on concept for Italian show

One of the last things we expect to see is a Mini towing around a 22-foot Airstream trailer, but that's exactly what will be on display in Milan, Italy, at the Salone del Mobile show in April. The one-off concept brings together the two iconic brands to produce a combination that surely will please beachgoers. For a modern styling touch, the duo tapped furniture producers Republic of Fritz Hansen to work its magic on the Cooper S Clubman tow car and the Airstream trailer.

Ford Start Concept – Beijing

Ford will unveil the Start Concept - a global city car - at the Beijing Motor Show We really didn’t see this coming – at least not yet – but Ford have pulled off a surprise ahead of the Beijing Motor Show by unveiling a Global City Car – the Ford Start Concept. We’re pretty sure this really is just a concept – although no doubt a direction pointer for Ford’s aspirations - but the 3-pot Ecoboost engine in the Ford Start is definitely not a concept engine. The Jaguar F-Type Coupe (pictured) will debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show The Jaguar C-X16 – the first look we had at the F-Type – was revealed two years ago at the Frankfurt Motor Show, and despite the F-Type Roadster arriving at the Paris Motor Show last year we still haven’t had the debut of the F-Type Coupe. But now Jaguar are finally ready to reveal the production version of the F-Type Coupe. It looks like Jaguar have planned a reveal for the F-Type Coupe similar to the one Land Rover did for the new Range Rover Sport – when Daniel Craig drove the new Sport across New York ahead of the opening of the show – as they tell us the F-Type Coupe will arrive on the eve of the Los Angeles Show.
