Geneva Show 2014: Adam gets hot
Wed, 05 Mar 2014VAUXHALL’S stylish baby car has appeared in a more performance-oriented form at the Geneva Motor Show. The Adam S uses the familiar 1.4-litre engine already seen in the standard Adam but here it comes in turbocharged form to release 148bhp and 162lb.ft of torque, significantly more than the current most powerful Adam model. As with other sporty Vauxhall models the Adam S has chassis upgrades including bigger wheels and tyres, stiffened and lowered suspension and high specification brakes.

Even avid petrolheads have to admit that there are times when they’d rather let the car do the work, especially in congested urban environments.
