The Executive ™ runner has 8" of 60° turning carbide on 1/2" diameter runner stock and is suitable for competition and experienced riders. The carbide in this runner must be balanced with a studded track. Performance trail riders are known to use this runner. - Designed for aggressive trail riders and racers
- 1/2" diameter host runner features a full 8" of 60 degree sharp edge turning carbide
- 1.5" carbide wear pads front and rear and full length hardweld surfaces between all three carbide inserts ensure extended wear
- Extra-long studs make it easy to install plastic skins
- Track studding required

In honor of the upcoming 100th anniversary of the Indianapolis 500, we bring you this lovely red 1971 Maserati Indy. Styled by Vignale, the Indy served as Maserati’s four-passenger business express from 1969 to 1971, powered originally by a 4.2-liter V8 and later by 4.7- and 4.9-liter versions of the Ghibli powerplant. This Oregon-based Euro-market example has a five-speed manual gearbox and power steering, and the owner of 20 years claims to have had a lot of expensive-sounding work done over the past few years.

Mazda yesterday celebrated 40 years of making rotary engines. It remains the only mainstream manufacturer persisting with this type of motor and has built 1.97 million of them since 1967. Rotary engines came to prominence in the 1950s as manufacturers experimented with turbine engines, but most admitted defeat in the face of technical difficulties and the inherent thirst of rotary units.

Mercedes-Benz has been found guilty of fixing prices of car parts in China – with BMW, Audi and Chrysler also facing penalties. China’s state news agency, Xinhua, reports that the German manufacturer has been found guilty of using its power to control the prices of parts. The Chinese government is cracking down on monopolies and has been accused of being too harsh on companies from abroad.
