Very nice two piece SPARCO multi-layer professional driving
suit. I am 6ft 2", 215lbs and it fits me great. I typically wear an XL for
shirts and have a 38" waist in pants.
The pants and jacket fit me fine if you wear a 40 - 42 they should still
work. I run a NASCAR Late Model Pavement
Car in the Whelen Series and used this suit as a back-up - I think I wore it
twice. It was originally made for Ryan
Newman's team - where I acquired it. Anyway, I am including a like new pair of
double layer racing gloves (2 races) and a well-used pair of single layer
gloves (for hot races). Also included is a new fire proof head sock (never worn),
fireproof socks (they have been worn), and a radio belt (can be used to belt
the pants). A pretty nice package for
the price - No reserve, free shipping, and a dollar to start the bidding. Add your helmet/race shoes and you're ready
to race in a very cool suit (that gets plenty of second looks).
Finally, the patch on the breast says NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, consequently, I am including a NASCAR Whelen patch in case you want to swap out the patch for a more realistic look. Subaru recall hits nearly 634,000 Legacy, Outback, Tribeca and Forester vehicles
Thu, 03 Jan 2013Subaru has issued a recall for 2010 and 2011 Legacy and Outback vehicles, 2006 through 2012 Tribeca crossovers and 2009 through 2012 Foresters. The automaker says that “puddle lights” on those vehicles could, if exposed to an electrolytic fluid like salty water, short circuit and cause a fire. All in all, 633,842 cars and crossovers are included in the recall.

Thu, 23 Jan 2014UK car manufacturing hits six-year high in 2013 The car market in Europe may have been a painful place in 2013, but that hasn’t stopped UK car manufacturing continuing to grow, with 2013 delivering a total of 1,509,762 cars – the highest total since 2007 and up 3.1 per cent on 2012. That impressive total is made up from a wide variety of car manufacturers, from the volume producers like Jaguar Land Rover, Nissan, Toyota and MINI to smaller sales volume from supercar makers Aston Martin. In fact the rate of growth and investment is so strong – moire than £2.5 billion in investment announcements in 2013 – that the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) are reporting that analysts believe the UK’s car manufacturing could break all-time records in the next four years.
