Fri, 20 Oct 2006

In early September, Transportation Design students from Istituto d'Arte Applicata e Design - Turin (IAAD) presented the results of 'Yamaha Next Move', a project sponsored by Yamaha, exploring a personal vision of a Yamaha scooter for the near future. Yamaha guided the students through the next generation of "two wheelers" suggesting two themes: -  Youngsters, two wheels, 50 cc: For kids that can only drive 50 cc, there are many products on the market, but sales are in decline. VW Golf R 400 (2014) first picture

Wed, 16 Apr 2014

By Damion Smy First Official Pictures 16 April 2014 23:01 VW just has to make this car! The VW Golf R 400 is the most ballistic, angry VW Golf that the factory has ever built – as quick as the VW Vision GTI Concept but based on the current Golf R, so it seems tantalisingly viable for production. With a ridiculous 3.9sec 0-62mph claim, the ‘400’, named after its Porsche 911 Carrera S-matching 400PS (395bhp), will rocket into the Beijing motor show to say ‘Cop this, A45 AMG’.

Wed, 06 Aug 2014

The Ford Fiesta (pictured) topped the UK sales chart again in July 2014 There must come a point (mustn’t there?) when new car sales/registrations slow down in the UK, but there seems little sign of it happening any time soon. For the 29th month in a row, new car registrations in the UK rose again in July 2014, up by 6.6 per cent on the same month in 2013, hitting a total of 172,907. So far in 2014, new car registrations have risen by 10.1 per cent to 1,460,172, with the SMMT predicting that new car registrations for 2014 will end up 8.1 per cent up on 2013 at 2,450,000.
