Location:

Tempe, Arizona, United States
Condition:Used

This Auction is for a set of Connecting Rods for the XPAG engine as found in the MG TB, MG TC, MG TD, and MG TF 1250. They can be used in the MG TF 1500 as well.

As you see in the photos they have been marked, rods and caps, so it is reasonable to assume that they have been in an engine rebuild at some time in their lives. You can clearly see that they are "MOWOG 24005".  Also note the extent of the pitting as they must have been subjected to extreme moisture over time. There is some pitting on the “journal surfaces” I do not know how much is acceptable so please do your homework. Call for more photos if in doubt.

These Con Rods are excess to my needs. It is still better to recycle them than let them sit on the shelf any longer.

Payment: PayPal, sorry. PLEASE Email me if you wish another method. In the past, T-ABC Listers could send a personal check. Please email for alternative methods of payment as I would prefer it.

Shipping: is actual cost of USPS postage and packaging. I have estimated the box to ship it to be 4” x 4" x 12” and the weight is overestimated at about 7 pounds when packed. Use the postage calculator from 85284 to your Zip Code for an estimate of postage cost. Postage is over-quoted because I have found the shipping costs quoted in the auction are never accurate. Handling is $1.00. I will refund any unneeded postage by Paypal. If you prefer another shipping carrier, let me know. Please advise if you wish insurance which has a surcharge.

Overseas shipping will be considerably more. I will quote postage once I know the destination. PLEASE WAIT FOR AN INVOICE for overseas postage quote. I may have to over quote postage, but I will refund the difference. Questions: about the item or auction may be sent via the Ebay system or to “sherparker1 ’via’ msn.com”.

Thanks for looking.

Vauxhall today confirmed it will launch a new convertible called Cascada in 2013. Although based on the running gear, it's actually longer than an Audi A5 Convertible – launching Vauxhall and Opel back into the full-size cabrio market for the first time since the 1930s. The new Vauxhall Cascada is 4.7m long, 70mm longer than an A5 cab and 225mm longer than the Astra TwinTop.

Seat Mii

Tue, 04 Oct 2011

The Seat Mii is still another variation of Volkswagen Up city car. Following on from Skoda's unveiling of the Citigo last week, the Mii follows the same basic principles: Take one Up and add appropriate corporate face. As a result, the Mii retains the same diminutive overall length of just 3550mm, as well as a range of economically mindful drivetrains and power units. To differentiate itself from its siblings, the Mii adopts a ‘characteristic and unmistakable' Seat DRG, with ‘arrow' graphics in the lamps and trapezoidal grille.

The SSC Ultimate Aero II (pics thanks to Jalopnik) The car world may have been in melt down for the last year or three, but some things are beyond recession. Ultimate hypercars is one, and it seems there are as many uber-wealthy people on the planet who are willing and able to indulge their desires for the best there can be as ever. Of course, we’re talking minuscule numbers of people to make the whole hypercar circus work.
