This series of auctions is for tested used charging assy parts for the XS650.  

ITEM DESCRIPTION:

Yamaha XS 650 parts:  Up for sale is a good used charging alternator rotor we have from a customers bike.  They chose to upgrade to a different charging system for thier bike.  This alternator has been tested in my shop by me.  The Ohm readings between each slip rings show 5 Ohms.  The factory requires a reading between 5 and 7 Ohms for a good unit and this one is in that range.  The next Ohm test was across each slip ring to ground and an infinite Ohm resistance reading was found.... This corresponds to the factory requirements for this test.  This unit came off of a 81 bike but will interchange with all points ignition, and electronic ignition models from 1970-1984.  The 80-84 alternator has a magnet for the pickup coil to send a signal to the cdi box.  However this model can be used as a charging alternator in all year xs650.  This is a bolt on and go part.  This is a tested and good charging system part.  Please see the attached pictures for related parts to this auction.  Like all my electronic ignition and charging parts they are tested prior to listing, and sold with no returns.  If this part doesnt fix your charging problems then you need to check your charging system out further because it is not this part causing your trouble.  I recommend to all my customers to completely check thier charging systems prior to buying parts to make sure they save money by only buying the parts they actually need.  A good service manual will have all the testing resources and instruction for you to test your system.

SHIPPING Internationally:

We will ship internationally but overseas buyer is responsible for all additional shipping, handling, and crating fees.  International shipping will only be done by airmail parcel.  We will not ship economy ground as it takes too long and is a hassle for the seller and buyer.  International bidders/buyers are responsible for contacting us for a shipping quote prior to sale end.
