Chevrolet Captiva (2011) first official pictures

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 13 September 2010 12:09 Chevrolet has facelifted the Captiva SUV and will show the car in public for the first time at the 2010 Paris motor show as one of four world debuts. It's a modest refresh, with a new front end design, cabin upgrades and new engines and transmissions. The seven-seater SUV has been around since 2006 and is due a mid-life pick-me-up.

Nissan-designed Santa’s sleigh

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 17 December 2008 14:30 Canadian designer Martin Uhlarik penned Nissan’s sleigh, which dispenses with reindeer altogether and can be used instead in conjunction with a rather faster steed, a Nissan GT-R. It’s quickly apparent that Nissan’s SC01 sledge will have a much greater load capacity than rival designs – and we’d certainly pull over fast if we saw this in our rear-view mirrors. Uhlarik is project design leader at Nissan’s Paddington design centre in London and was senior exterior designer on the Qashqai+2 and NV200 concept.

2014 BMW M4 Convertible revealed

We’re eagerly anticipating the launch of the new 2014 BMW M3 saloon and M4 Coupe, but before we’ve even driven those cars (we will do soon, though) our attention has been diverted by the announcement of the new 2014 BMW M4 Convertible. Using the same running gear as its hard-topped siblings, the M4 Convertible adds a touch more glamour thanks to that electric folding roof. Perfect for cruising the French Riviera or whizzing round the Nurburgring, it really is quite the car.
