Jaguar: 0-75 years in under 4 minutes
Wed, 19 May 2010Jaguar are celebrating their 75th Anniversary in 2010 If Jaguar had reached the milestone of 75 years of car making even five years ago, playing the ‘History’ card would have been a dangerous game. Onyx Concept to feature Range Rover Aspen Ultimate Series at SEMA
Wed, 30 Oct 2013Irish tuning firm Onyx Concept will be taking its lineup of cars to SEMA, and we have a feeling the company's Range Rover Aspen Ultimate Series will fit right in in Las Vegas. Onyx Concept is not as old as the old as some of the other European tuning houses, but they've already made waves with their the tuning programs for the cars that they have offered. The Range Rover Aspen Ultimate Series is not going to be all show and no go, even though we have to admit that we didn't think it was going to be easy to improve upon the supercharged Range Rover's stock output of 505 hp.
VW Golf R (2013) at Frankfurt motor show
Tue, 20 Aug 2013The new VW Golf R has been revealed and it’s the fastest version of the iconic hatch ever. The all-wheel drive flagship Golf now has 296bhp, up from 267bhp, with its 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine and all-wheel drive sending the six-speed DSG version from 0-62mph in a feisty 4.9sec – matching the BMW M135i, but still shy of the Mercedes A45 AMG, which cracks it in 4.6sec. Why would I buy this over a Golf GTI?
