Fri, 20 Jun 2014 00:00:00 -0700

Unveiled in 1972, the Peugeot 104 was a compact car with a simple and honest design by Paolo Martin. The most powerful ZS model was more of a warm hatch than a hot one, but it did feature a 1124cc engine with 66bhp. Thanks to the car's weight of only 760kg, the car could reach speeds of up to 100mph - terrifying in a 104.

Mercedes CLS (2011) first official pictures

Sun, 22 Aug 2010 00:00:00 -0700

After months of speculation and spyshots, we can finally bring you the first pictures of the new 2011 Mercedes CLS. If the new Mercedes CLS stirs your memory somewhat, that would be because it draws heavily on the Shooting Break concept which we saw earlier in 2010 at the Beijing motor show.

Jaguar Land Rover: 800 new jobs & record sales

Mon, 14 Jan 2013 00:00:00 -0800

Jaguar Land Rover are creating 800 new jobs at their Solihull plant as they reveal record sales for 2012 of 335,000 vehicles. The end of last week saw Honda plans to cut 800 jobs as the European market for Honda fizzled under a cloud of economic gloom, but no such problems at Jaguar Land Rover. Jaguar Land Rover has revealed plans for 800 new jobs at Solihull (following on from 1,000 new jobs last March, 1100 new jobs last July and 1000 new jobs in November 2011),  after revealing record sales across the globe in 2012, selling an impressive 335,000 vehicles.
