Moynat’s custom ‘Trunk’ for the Jaguar F-Type Roadster
Luxury car makers manage to extract big sums of money from owners who want custom accessories for their vars, and Jaguar is no different. But this particular piece of custom luggage for the Jaguar F-Type has been made as a one-off by French luxury luggage makers Moynat to celebrate opening their first store outside London. The F-Type ‘Trunk’ (and it will only fit the F-Type Roadster) was created in collaboration with Jaguar and is inspired by Moynat’s famous ‘Limousine’ trunk.

Some dare speak of a great and mystical land, a veritable Valhalla, a sacred realm where sheetmetal reigns, across valleys and hills as far as the gaze leads. A brutal land where the wind howls and cuts to the bone, whipping around A-pillars and lidless trunks. A land of ice and snow, from the midnight sun where the hot springs flow.

The current version of the 911 has not long been refreshed, and still has more to deliver. Only the Carrera and Targa have had the facelift so far, and still to come is the Turbo, not to mention the GT3. But Porsche is already a long way down the road with the next generation 911 (998), which is not expected to launch until 2011, as you can see from this spy shot taken in rather chilly Arctic climes.
