This is an aftermarket exhaust system,
unknown manufacturer. It appears to be a Mac system. No leaks or
cracks. No rust on the headers. There appears to be some light dents
and scrapes on the bottom of the header consistent with scraping a
curb. There is no significant rust of any kind other than very light
surface rust normally found on any used part. The muffler has only one
small dent inboard where it would be invisible when mounted on the
bike. There might be light dings here and there but I did not see
them. The black finish appears to be some sort of stock ceramic finish
and is in great usable condition with extremely light spray paint
over-spray on the muffler.

Ferrari 4×4 Hybrid system on the drawing board
Sat, 23 May 2009One of the drawings Ferrari has submitted to the European Patent Office for a 4x4 Hybrid System [ad#ad-1] Actually, the headline is quite literal. It would appear that Ferrari is working on four wheel drive hybrid propulsion systems after plans submitted to the European Patent Office were uncovered by Autocar. It’s been known for some time that Ferrari has been working on Hybrid and 4WD systems, but these drawings show that Ferrari is in fact looking at a simpler system designed more to aid handling than to benefit the environment.
