Porsche Macan production starts in December

The Porsche Macan (pictured) starts production in December with a bolder look It does seem that the baby Cayenne – the new, Audi Q5 based Porsche Macan – has been on its way for a while, but Porsche has now confirmed production will start in December, with first Macans hitting Porsche showrooms in early 2014. But despite the Macan having been spied many times, seemingly almost undisguised, we really don’t know what it will look like. The first of a four Webinar series was entitled ‘What is new in Alias v2013?' and showcased the capabilities of the company's latest software edition. Tech specialist EMEA Nils Kremser of Autodesk presented the 30-minute Webinar before a 15 minutes question and answer session. The first subject in the Webinar was ‘User Interface, User Adoption' before Nils explained ‘Import & Export .edf (Icem Surf)'.

Lamborghini seized in police swoop

A LAMBORGHINI worth around £300,000 was among the vehicles seized by police during a crackdown on uninsured cars. The orange supercar was initially stopped by officers in Newham, east London as it had no front number plate, and further checks revealed the driver was not the registered owner. The Lamborghini Aventador - which does 0-62mph in 2.9 seconds and has a top speed of 217mph - was seized when police discovered the driver's insurance policy did not cover him to get behind the wheel of the luxury motor.
