Black Yanmar Engine Instrument Panel with 5 Marine Grade Gauges

Dimensions 14" x 5"
Programmable RPM Pickup w/ Magnetic Sensor
The Magnetic Pick-up Tachometer hook up to a magnetic pickup sensor which counts gear teeth. Here neither of the wires is grounded to block. They are both routed up to the tachometer as a twisted pair. One hooks to the signal terminal and the other to the ground terminal on back of the tachometer. The switch is set to the approximate number of teeth that the sensor sees on each engine revolution. Another adjustment on the back allows fine tuning to the exact number of teeth.  The label is marked in ranges generally from the 80 to 200 gear teeth.
This Programmable tachometer will also function with a tachometer signal generator which is spun by the engines’ mechanical take-off. One of the signal generator’s wires in grounded to the engine and the other is connected to the tach’s signal terminal.  Please check the type of RPM signal your engine has, we have all three tachometers available for purchase.

Tue, 28 Jan 2014

A HONDA NSX supercar once regularly driven by legendary Formula 1 driver Ayrton Senna is coming up for auction. The stunning car, which is still in exemplary condition, was bought for Senna by his manager and friend Antonio Carlos de Almeida Braga, for the three-time World Champion to use when visiting his home in Portugal. After Senna’s untimely death in 1994, the NSX sat for two years in Portugal, with strict instructions that no one should be allowed to use it – or even touch it.

Ferrari SP FFX revealed – it’s not a looker

Tue, 28 Jan 2014

The one-off Ferrari SP FFX – complete with white fringe and coupe roof. Ferrari Special Operations is the division of Ferrari that relieves very well-heeled punters of vast quantities of cash to create one-off specials – just like Eric Clapton’s Ferrari SP12 EC. But a big bank account doesn’t necessarily equate to great taste, at least not if the only image we have of Ferrari’s latest one-off creation – the Ferrari SP FFX – is anything to go by.

Saab: Muller used Antonov money to purchase Saab

Thu, 01 Dec 2011

Vladimir Antonov provided the finance for Victor Muller to buy Saab Victor Muller has told Swedish TV that the money he used to buy Saab was funded by alleged fraudster Vladimir Antonov. In a revelation that will surprise no one, Saab ‘owner’ Victor Muller has revealed that the $74 million paid to GM when Spyker (as they then were) bought Saab was supplied to one of Victor Muller’s companies by Snoras Bank refugee Vladimir Antonov. Muller revealed this little nugget of information in an interview due to be televised in Sweden tomorrow, and also revealed he still owed the money (well, the company he owns still owes the money).
