Toyota confirms sticking accelerator fix
Mon, 01 Feb 2010The Toyota fix for the sticking accelerator problem (click image for full size) It’s been a fraught time for Toyota with the recall of millions of cars around the world to remedy a faulty accelerator pedal with the potential to stick. And no one – Toyota seemingly included – was too sure exactly how the car maker was going to address such a mammoth problem despite the Toyota Recall. But it seems the fix has been sorted.
Audi R8 e-Tron revealed
Mon, 14 Sep 2009First pictures of the electric Audi R8 - the Audi R8 e-Tron The pictures here have leaked out of Audi, and clearly show that the e-Tron is very much Audi R8, albeit with some changes. The grill is changed, as are the wheels and rear end. The interior has very little resemblance to the R8, partly because this is an electric car and a concept.
Kia Sportage (2010 / 2011) revealed
Wed, 03 Feb 2010Kia has revealed the Sportage which will debut at Geneva It’s lagging a bit behind its sibling from Hyundai, but Kia’s version of the ix35 – The Kia Sportage – has now been revealed and will debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month. As with the Hyundai ix35, the Kia Sportage is leaps and bounds on from the old car. Its design language, which comes from the guidance of former Audi designer Peter Schreyer, is as competent and as effective as anything from Europe or Japan.
