Honda / Acura "wet" sump oil pump system with vacuum pump

 NOT FOR STREET USE

Designed for use with high horsepower Honda B series engines. Supplies enough oil pressure when using larger bearing clearances and heavier non detergent (race applications) engine oil. Two stage pump. Second stage is a vacuum section that regulates leaded gas setups at -22psi. Most all motor classes do not allow this section due to the added horsepower advantage. Methanol fuel applications will not see any negative psi reading since this fuel burns so slow, it is still on fire in the oil pan. Thus negative pressure is almost impossible to achive. I have tested up to 3 total vacuum sections while using Methanol with still no negative pressures (without starving the engine from oil). Did testing with up to 4 vacuum stages on 2JZ engines with same results. Accepts an external mechanical fuel pump (eliminates fuel pressure drop with voltage changes).

Pump is installed where alternator goes. Custom plates take place of factory oil pump and position oil pump belt behind timing belt. Oil pump is adjustable.

INCLUDED:

Used Johnston external oil and vacuum pump. 2 Cog belts. 2 Cog pulleys. Extra woodrif keys.

Z10 Motorsports custom wet sump oil pan. (Turbo drain bungs, removable windage tray and screen filter)

Z10 Motorsport Install kit: Pump brackets (mounts where alternator goes). 2 Factory oil pump upper and lower eliminator plates. 2 Front crank seals. 2 oil pump belt pulleys.

Custom Oil breather canister with drain. Missing filter.

Fram oil filter relocation kit.

All Custom made Goodridge hoses. Super lightweight carbon Kevlar with aluminum pressed on ends. Extra hoses included.

All the parts in the pictures are what you get. All parts needed except no filter for breather and banjo weld on fitting will need to be purchased (if you choose to use that setup for vacuum line). $3000 invested into system including hoses. Goodridge put part numbers on all of the hoses so they can be ordered again if needed. Some of the tags have come off, but there may still be a list if you call. Original car was taken to NC for Goodridge to fabricate all vehicle hoses ($1800). You may need to make adjustment depending on your configuration.

This actual system (for sale here) was on Angela Proudfoot's Honda Civic. B18C turbo engine. 1045whp. It has been in a box for 9 years in my storage unit.

Any questions please email or call me.       Chris Neidemire 301 712-5805

I would recommend cleaning and resealing the pump. It was in perfect working order when taken off the car.

Mercedes-Benz considering Aston Martin buyout

Wed, 02 Apr 2014

Mercedes-Benz is reportedly considering a deal to buyout sports car manufacturer Aston Martin, fuelling rumours that the canned Aston Martin Lagonda SUV concept from 2009 (pictured above) could once again be back on. The move would see Merc increase its current 5% stake in the British brand following a deal announced last year to supply AMG engines for Aston’s next generation of sports cars. On Bing: see pictures of the Aston Martin Lagonda SUV concept Find out how much a used Aston Martin costs on Auto Trader It’s no secret the firm has been toying with the idea of a premium SUV following the Lagonds concept, so with Mercedes technical expertise and existing model range, it opens up potential new models to Aston Martin.
