Red Shift Dual Piston Cam Chain Tensioners are a direct replacement aftermarket product designed to improve cam timing accuracy and valve train control on all 2007-up engines. This is a new product designed and developed by the Axtell Mountain Motor team. This bypass valve consists of a precision-machined “needle and seat” that inserts in place of the factory oil pressure relief valve located within the cam plate. With the Axtell valve you can expect higher, more stable oil pressure at all engine rpms, longer oil life due to reduced oil shear, lower oil and engine temperature, improved valve train control and reduced noise. Campaigners oppose CCTV parking camera ban
Thu, 10 Apr 2014CAMPAIGN groups have joined local authorities in warning against plans to ban CCTV parking cameras. The Local Government Association (LGA) and the groups are opposed to Government plans to stop councils from using CCTV to tackle dangerous parking outside schools. The cameras are being used to prevent drivers blocking bus lanes and loading bays and to stop pavement parkers posing a risk to disabled pedestrians.

Tue, 28 Jan 2014Ayrton Senna’s Honda NSX (pictured) is expected to fetch £75-85k Ayrton Senna was arguably the greatest F1 driver of all time, and his death 20 years ago at Imola sent shock waves through the sport and deprived F1 fans of more years of Senna’s driving prowess. But driving F1 cars wasn’t the only thing Senna did; just like today’s F1 drivers he was also involved in road car development, and during his time with McLaren he was a part of Honda’s (engine suppliers at the time for McLaren) development of the original NSX. So any Honda NSX with a clear link to Senna can reasonably expect to be a desirable car for collectors and F1 fans to acquire, and the Honda NSX up for grabs at Silverstone Auctions’ sale next month has a very clear Senna link.
