6" Suspension Lift System
Zone Offroad now offers a 6" suspension lift kit for your 1977-87 1/2 ton Chevy or GM truck, Blazer, Jimmy, or Suburban. Many hours of development and testing have finally produced a capable leaf spring that we are proud to introduce to our lineup. These springs are a 5 leaf pack with anti-friction pads and center leaf spacer plates between each leaf. This design significantly decreases leaf pack internal friction for a smooth and consistent spring rate.
This system comes complete with a 4" steering arm to correct the drag link angle. Zone Offroad also addresses the brake lines by providing front and rear brakel line relocation brackets. Front and rear yellow zinc plated u-bolts with high nuts and washers are included for both the front rear. The rear of this system is lifted with a 4" lift block and add-a-leaf to achieve 5-6" of rear lift. If your truck came with a front sway bar, Zone Offroad has you covered with a unique shackle sway bar link design listed in the accessories that will fit lifts from 2-6". Wed, 09 May 2012John and Helen Taylor recently drove a 2012 Volkswagen Passat TDI carefully enough to return an unbelievable 84.1 mpg on trip from Houston, Texas, to Sterling, Va. That's 1,626.1 miles on one tank of low-sulfur diesel. That's almost 100 miles better than the old world record.

Fri, 11 May 2012Tesla Model S - deliveries start in June Tesla Motors will deliver the first customer Tesla Model S cars to customer in the US in June as Tesla finally hits the make or break point. The Tesla Model S has been a long time coming, but Tesla now say that the first Model S cars will start to arrive with customers in the US in June, slightly ahead of schedule – which must be a first for Tesla. The first 1,000 deliveries will be of the range-topping Signature Series cars which come with the big 85kWh battery pack and lots of toys and cosmetic embellishments, but after that it’s regular Model S deliveries, although the cheaper versions with smaller battery packs and lower range won’t arrive until later.

Thu, 02 May 2013A 1965 Dodge Coronet 500 Hemi convertible was the top seller at the second annual Novi Metro Detroit Spring Classic Car Auction on April 27. It crossed the block, which was commandeered by Hagerty. A 1940 Ford V8 Deluxe convertible was second, selling for $37,800.
