  • was rebuilt in the fall of 2012 and then we took truck to junk yard ~1 year later when it quit running
  • I took the alternator to Kewanee Electric in Kewanee, IL and they tested it, verifying that it was good to go
  • If you do purchase this used and for some reason doesn't work I will refund your money, just thought someone could use it seeing as the little wear it's had on it

Corvette ZR1 'Blue Devil' freed from sinkhole

Update: Video of the ZR1 removal added below. Workers at the National Corvette Museum have begun removing eight cars from the bottom of a sinkhole that appeared inside the museum's Skydome last month. The first car to make it back to ground level is the 2009 Corvette ZR1 prototype nicknamed "Blue Devil." Incredibly, the ZR1 reportedly cranked right up and even made it to the doorway of the Skydome under its own power.

Apple's Siri to invade cars within one year

The Apple Worldwide Developers Conference 2012 was under way on Monday at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, where Apple CEO Tim Cook has announced that the Siri personal assistant will soon be in the car. According to Cook, within the next 12 months, drivers will be able to hit a button on the steering wheel and connect with that disembodied voice from the commercials. BMW, General Motors, Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar, Audi, Toyota, Chrysler and Honda have all signed on for the experience.
