INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: I require all items be shipped USPS first class registered mail. Purchases are insured against lost, and a registered number is provided which can be used to track the package’s progress on usps.com. It is not cheap, so I would combine purchases with friends and split the cost. Charges for this service are; $13.00 charge for using registered mail (tracking & insurance), a $2.00 charge for the first item for a total of $15.00, then $1.50 for each additional item. I must hand deliver these items to the post office, then stand in line to fill out 2 different forms, 1 for registered mail and 1 for customs, then pay for the postage. I will do this once a week for international orders, the day may vary depending on my schedule and how many international orders are going out. |

Chevrolet Volt uses parts made from oil-collecting booms
Tue, 21 Dec 2010General Motors is transforming about 100 miles of boom material used to soak up oil in the Gulf of Mexico into auto parts for the Chevrolet Volt. The oil-soaked plastic material collected off the Alabama and Louisiana coasts will keep more than 100,000 pounds of waste from the nation's landfills. The project is expected to make enough plastic to supply the first-year production of Volts with plastic parts for under the hood.
New car sales still accelerating
Thu, 04 Sep 2014NEW CAR SALES raced ahead again last month, according to official figures. A total of 72,163 new vehicles were registered in August 2014 - a 9.4% rise on August 2013 and the 30th consecutive month of growth, the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) said. Last month's figure took the year-to-date total to more than 1.53 million - a 10.1% rise on the total for the first eight months of 2013.

We know that the 2014 S Class will get a range of engines from frugal 4-cylinder to potent V12 – with engines to suit all in between – but whatever engine you choose there will be a raft of technology at your fingertips (some at extra cost depending on the model you buy), so Mercedes has been busy producing a ‘Story’ video highlighting much of the new S-Class’s tech.
