Here is (1) Vintage SPARTON Mirror-Matic Rearview Mirrors in very good condition (SEE PHOTOS). What a great find!!!! A special note....this is one of the the last three that I have (check my other auctions), so if you are interested in these hard to find items please don't hesitate. A very hard to find item and a perfect candidate for restoration. The item as you can see from the photos is presentable but the items will need the glass re-silvered as shown. Needs two screws (bottom of frames), and adjuster knob. Mirror has top surface defects (clams) on the right and left corner that need to be sanded out as shown. A very hard to find item. I believe this was a factory option for vehicles such as the 1959, 1960 and 1961 Chrysler Imperial, Dodge, Plymouth and Desoto. What you see in the photos...no other parts are included. I have no way of testing this item, therefore it is being sold as original found condition, (Buying As-Is), no refund/no return/no exchange. Nissan NV3500 passenger van promises quiet and safety
Thu, 10 Nov 2011Early this year Nissan introduced a full-sized commercial panel van that's offered in two flavors -- standard and tall; as in, you can walk around the interior. So it was just a matter of time until Nissan targeted the hotel shuttle and church bus crowd with a windowed passenger model using that platform. First impression is that Nissan's windowed van is a very credible competitor for a segment that has been dominated by the Ford E-series and the Chevrolet Express, and to a lesser degree by the GMC Savana and Mercedes-Benz and Freightliner Sprinter.
Honda Gear Concept
Mon, 21 Jan 2013Rather than fighting for headlines at NAIAS, Honda debuted its new GEAR Concept at the Montreal International Auto Show. The subcompact GEAR is apparently inspired by fixed-gear bicycles (although quite how is unclear), described as a customizable vehicle that demonstrates the carmaker's way of providing vehicles for young, urban, Gen-Y lifestyles. "Subcompact cars are usually either utilitarian, but uninspiring or they're fun, zippy cars that are impractical and too expensive for the Gen-Y buyer," said Dave Marek, Design Director at Honda R&D Americas, Inc.
