Yesterday we reported on the Nurburgring record claimed by Gumpert for the Apollo S, an extremely impressive 7:11.5. But we did mention – or rather said we’d better not mention – Radical’s time of 6:55 set a few years ago.

Not that you’d notice – sandwiched in between a number of specialist marques with unpronounceable names, the European debut of the BS6 and BS4 saloons and BC3 coupe (above) didn't attract too many camera flashguns. But make no mistake, Brilliance will, we predict, be an automotive household name 10 years from now.
Kia Naimo EV Concept revealed
Thu, 31 Mar 2011The Kia Naimo EV gets revealed in Seoul This week sees the start of the Seoul Motor Show. Which may not be at the top of our list of must-see shows, but with Kia and Hyundai taking over the world we do need to at least sit up and take notice. Today is press day at Seoul and Kia has rocked up with a funky electric CUV (Crossover Utility Vehicle) – the Kia Naimo – powered by a pair of 27kWh lithium-ion polymer batteries in the boot which power an electric motor that’s good for 108bhp and 207lb/ft of torque.
