These are brand new tubular control arms for the front of a 2000-2002 Dodge Ram 1500/2500/3500 4x4 w/ 3.5" to 5" of front lift. This is for a set of 4. Includes 2 uppers and 2 lowers. These are approximately 1" longer than stock and will help push your front axle further forward to make up for having 3.5" to 5" of front lift. They definitely allow the best tire fitment as it re-centers the axle in the wheel well. These are sold in a set of 4, because you really need uppers AND lowers to re-center your axle properly. If you've installed 3.5" to 5" of lift, you DEFINITELY need longer control arms! This is because as you lift the truck, the angle on the arms increases, pulling it back in the wheel well. Our arms are powdercoated black and have our Boost Performance decals on each one. Again, these are brand new. They come ready to install, with zirc fittings, poly bushings, DOM sleeves, etc. Simply re-use your factory hardware.

What sets ours apart from other competitors? We use DOM tubing in the construction of the arms AS WELL as the sleeve. Take a look at the sleeve pics. On the left is our Boost Performance sleeve. On the right is a competitors. We use heavy wall DOM tubing, with NO split seam, for our sleeves. The issue with the competitors sleeves is they are thinner wall and simply rolled over. This leaves a gap/seam. These arms take a lot of back and forth pressure. Over time, the other sleeves start to pull apart at that seam, creating a sharp edge inside the bushing, causing the bushing to shred from the inside. Our sleeves are DOM, with no seam, and a much heavier wall thickness. These are guaranteed!

We specialize in Dodge suspensions and know them better than anyone. Buy with confidence.

Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 arrives in Geneva

Sat, 26 Feb 2011

The Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 arrives in Geneva The Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 is certainly making its presence felt at the Geneva Motor Show already. But it’s more about the leaked photos of the LP700-4 appearing all over the place than anything else. Earlier this week we ran the first ‘real’ photo of the LP700-4, which came from a scan of the Croation version of Evo Magazine.

New Mercedes ML (2012) Revealed

Tue, 07 Jun 2011

The Mercedes ML grows up for 2012 The imminent demise of the big SUV has been predicted by the hair-shirt-wearing, green halo brigade for years, but cars like the new 2012 Mercedes ML are like every successful creation – they evolve to survive. So the news that’s come with the first photos of the 2012 ML that we will see the big Mercedes SUV sporting a lowly four-pot is much less of a shock than it would have been a few years ago. But it’s much less of a shock because four-pot turbos have evolved to give us more than a six-pot would have done just a few years before, which makes a 4-pot in a Mercedes ML almost appealing.

Jaguar Land Rover aiming to double sales

Sat, 22 Jun 2013

Jaguar Land Rover plan to double sales We’ve got so used to reporting ever increasing sales for Jaguar and Land Rover that it comes as no big surprise that JLR are planning to double car sales by 2020. A few years ago such a figure would have been risible, but since Tata took the helm from Ford in 2008 the focus at JLR on creating a world beating brand and product has been unshakable. Tata got off to a good start with the Jaguar XF replacing the S-Type, and the new Jaguar XJ showing just how good a big luxury car can be to drive.
