London Design Museum showcases most iconic designs and inventions
Fri, 09 Dec 2011The London Design Museum has added 13 new exhibits to its collection. The additions come ahead of the Museum's relocation from its current location in the shadows of Tower Bridge to the former Commonwealth Institute across town in Kensington. The new acquisitions are taken from a variety of backgrounds; from the iconic Tomohiro Nishikado-designed Space Invaders game through the Kalashnikov AK-47 and the Amazon Kindle.

For the last three years, the Riverside International Automotive Museum has honored those memories with a big reunion of great drivers, race cars and movies. In 2009, the featured hero was Southern California's own Dan Gurney.

It’s aiming to out-drive and out-sell the BMW 3-series, new Audi A4, and Jaguar’s upcoming ‘XS’ sports saloon.Lots of design cues have been taken from the flagship S-class to create the simplified new C-class cabin, but there are still an awful lot of new features. They’re all bolted into a C-class that’s 100kg lighter than the outgoing model, and will boast, Mercedes claims, the lowest fuel consumption in its class.
