This came off my 454 witch had an 800 cfm Holley bolted to it. It has been ported out to the gasket with some interior port work as you can see in the photos. Had it cleaned up and it turned out nice. Looked on line to find out what the numbers on the underside have to do with anything, but what I found out does not make any sense. It is supposed to be the date of manufacture but it has been on the motor since 05', underside casting numbers suggest that this is a "COPO" piece, so your guess is as good as any. Been in the plastic bag and box that the other one came in for years, I don't need it.... maybe you do ! The shipping is an estimate quote, it weighs about 18 lbs., buyer to pay shipping

Top Gear: McLaren MP4-12C, Hot Hatches in Monaco & Italy & Ross Noble

Sat, 02 Jul 2011

McLaren MP4-12C - Jezza on the Top Gear Track Update 4/7/2011: No, we don’t know what happened to Jeremy’s McLaren MP4-12C piece either. The BBC told us it was on, but instead we got James May and the Aston Martin Virage. Not that there’s anything wrong with May and an Aston, but we had our juices going for the McLaren.

New entry-level Caterham Seven to cost under £17k

Thu, 30 May 2013

The new entry-level, sub-£17k Caterham Seven If there’s one thing you know about the Caterham Seven – Caterham’s recreation of Colin Chapman’s iconic Lotus Seven – it’s that it’s not b exactly laden with fripperies and heavy technology. So when Caterham tell us that they’re soon going to launch a new, entry-level, Seven that takes the Seven “…back to its simple design roots” we do wonder how much simpler the Seven can be than it already is. But Caterham say the new Seven will be probably the most fuel efficient car they produce with a new EU-6 compliant engine providing accessible fun for ‘under £17k’.

New Hyundai Test Centre at the Nurburgring revealed

Sun, 02 Jun 2013

Hyundai’s new test centre at the Nurburgring If anyone had said, just a few years ago, that Hyundai would develop a test centre at the Nurburgring to help shake-down their cars, they’d have been laughed at. But Hyundai – and Kia – have come so far in recent years that it makes absolute sense for them to develop a full-time testing facility at the Nurburgring to test their cars for the road, along with just about every other car maker of note. James May may object to the Nurburgring factor in the suspension set-ups of many road cars (and we do have some sympathy for his point of view), but the sometimes extreme nature of the Nurburgring’s surfaces – and its endless twists and turns, uphill and down – do offer car makers an easily accessible place to test cars in the (almost) real world.
