A fine example of the earliest nearly mint console ashtray. This tray has little patina to the chrome ring, a vague mark to the inside back edge of door. To me appears like a melt like mark but hard to believe it ever had a cigarette in it. This ashtray has been stored away since 1978. Extremely stunning, very functional with door spring and door pads still intact. A great addition to the 70 interior.

Last year we reported that a Range Rover Evoque Sport is planned after David Mitchell, Land Rover’s Evoque program director, confessed he was driving an Evoque with the 2.0 litre Ecoboost petrol engine turned up to 300bhp. Even if David Mitchell hadn’t confessed his pimped ride it would still have been a very sensible assumption that Land Rover would add a Range Rover Evoque Sport to the range at some point.
