Part: REBUILT 1998/1999 Mercury 2.5L DFI OPTIMAX 135 / 150 hp Outboard Powerhead.   This powerhead has been completely disassembled and all internals inspected, passageways flushed and cylinders honed & cross-hatched to insure new rings seat properly.  It was then professionally rebuilt with new rings, gaskets and seal kit installed.  New head gaskets for this motor were $400 in cost alone!!  Our research has shown that this powerhead will fit at least a 1998 & 1999 Mercury 135/150hp 2.5L optimax but may also fit other year models.  Please do your own research or ask your local mechanic or Mercury dealer.  It is ready for you to move the electronics and accessories off of your motor onto this long block (block, crankshaft, pistons & cylinder heads). Condition: Professionally rebuilt with new ring set, new gaskets and seal kits.  Ready to bolt onto your midsection and move your fueling system and electrical components from your current motor to this powerhead.
